PIERRE JOURDAN GETS A COOL TOUCH FOR SUMMER WITH FROST POPSICLES LIMITED EDITION RATAFIA POPSICLE!

Just in time to accompany lengthy summer lunches at the poolside, Frost Popsicles – the creators of the much-loved Pierre Jourdan Popsicles (PJ Pops™,) has launched a new Limited Edition Ratafia Popsicle to add to the existing range of Pierre Jourdan Brut and Tranquille Popsicles.

Pierre Jourdan Ratafia is 100% Chardonnay fortified with potstill brandy and made exclusively by Haute Cabrière.

This wine was inspired by ‘Ratafia de Champagne’ which is the only other wine, aside from Champagne, that is produced in the acclaimed Champagne region in France. Hence it was a natural step for the von Arnim family, with a rich heritage of creating Pierre Jourdan Méthode Cap Classique wines in Franschhoek, to produce a Ratafia.

Ratafia can be served as an aperitif before a meal, or paired with a wide variety of desserts like a crème brûlée and perfect with trifle, you may even choose to add Ratafia to your Christmas trifle! Since Cellar Master Takuan von Arnim always recommends that this wine is served ice cold, the new Ratafia PJ Pops™ definitely ticks all the boxes this summer.
