Delivery Policy

If there is any conflict between this Delivery Policy and the Online Terms and Conditions, the Online Terms and Conditions will prevail and will apply in respect of all products sold through this website.


Online Ordering and Email Confirmation

Products purchased through this website will be delivered to a physical address of your choice, which must be selected during the online ordering process. As soon as your order is dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email.


Courier Delivery

Deliveries will be performed by a professional courier company engaged by us. Deliveries will occur during weekdays only, and no deliveries will be made on weekends or public holidays. We recommend that you use your office address as your physical delivery address if you are not at home during the week. You may need to sign for delivery and to provide a valid form of identification when your order is delivered.

If you are not available to take delivery of your order, we will attempt either one or two more deliveries to the physical address that you provided during the online ordering process and, if still unsuccessful, either we or our courier company, acting on our behalf, will call you to arrange, in its sole and absolute discretion, for either a further delivery attempt to be made or for you to collect your order from the courier company.

In the event that we and/or our duly appointed courier company is unable to contact you, despite all reasonable attempts to do so, using the contact details and/or physical delivery address that you provided during the ordering process, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund to you the money already paid for your order, less reasonable administration charges including the cost incurred by us for repeatedly attempting to deliver your order and for arranging for the return of your order.

Delivery Times

Our delivery times will vary between 3-5 working days depending on, amongst other things, your delivery address. While we are firmly committed to delivering your order within the estimated delivery times, we are unable to guarantee that all orders will be delivered within the stipulated time frame, particularly in the event that certain products contained in your order are temporarily (or permanently) unavailable.


Costs

All orders over R1500 are delivered for Free. There is a delivery fee of R165 imposed for orders that are under R1500. In addition, in our sole discretion we may determine that your delivery address is located in a remote area and, upon you placing your online order, request payment of an additional delivery fee. Should you object to an additional delivery fee being payable, you will still have the choice to withdraw your order.


Our Liability

We are not liable for any incorrect order or delivery where you make an error in the information that you provide while placing your order, e.g., if you provide the incorrect delivery address or submit an incorrect order. If you do not provide a valid physical address for delivery, we will cancel your order and refund the purchase price. It may also not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. If this is the case, we will inform you using the contact details that you provide to us when you make your order, and will arrange for cancellation of the order or delivery to a different delivery address.

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your ordered products are delivered within 3-5 business days. While we will try to ensure a smooth delivery process, in the event that we are unable to meet the estimated delivery timeframes, you accept and agree that Haute Cabrière will not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of the late delivery of your order. You further acknowledge that the delivery of your order may be impacted by events beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, industrial action, or an inability to secure labour, power, internet services, GSM network connectivity, materials or supplies.

We deliver products in standard packaging. You understand and accept that the packaging of the products offered on this website (e.g., bottles, containers, packets, etc.) may be different from the packaging of the product that is delivered to you. All risk in the products will pass to you upon delivery; from the time when the risk passes to you, we will not be liable for any loss or destruction of the products.

What are my delivery options and how much does it cost?

All pricing shown on our website has the delivery fee included. We deliver one-way within the following radii:

  • 50km one way from Sandton, Johannesburg
  • 50km one way from Observatory, Cape Town (we do however include deliveries to Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch)
  • 50km one way from Berea, Durban
  • 30km one way from Nelspruit, Mpumulamga

If you are located outside the above-mentioned delivery zones, please feel free to contact us directly on the details provided on our website to discuss your potential delivery options further.


When will my order be delivered?

Once you have successfully completed the checkout process on our website, you will receive a confirmation of your order via email. Hereafter a qualified member of the Frost Popsicles team will contact you directly on the same day that the order was placed (Provided the order was placed between the hours of 8am-5pm).

A suitable time and date can then be arranged directly with you. Unless the order is requested for delivery on a specific date, we prefer to deliver within 2-3 working days at the most.


Can I choose a specific time of day for my delivery?

Yes, customers are able to request a specific time for delivery when they are contacted by a member of the Frost Popsicle’s team after a successful checkout process. However please take note our latest delivery times vary from region-to-region:

  • Cape Town’s latest delivery time is 3:30pm (weekdays).
  • Johannesburg, Nelspruit and Durban’s latest delivery time is 5pm (weekdays).

(We do not deliver on weekends (Unless by special arrangement in advance).


Can I change my delivery address after I have placed my order?

Yes, contact us directly using the contact details provided in order to change the delivery address. However if the new delivery address falls far outside of our above-mentioned delivery zones, this may incur additional delivery fees or could ultimately affect the delivery timeframe. We recommend you contact us directly using the details provided on our website to ensure your delivery remains on-time and in order.


Can I reschedule my delivery?

Yes, to reschedule your delivery simply contact us using the details provided on our website within 24 hours of placing your order.

Order Issues

How do I place an order?

Simply select a product in our online store. Once you have the product in your cart you are then able to review everything is in order and can proceed to checkout. We use a secure payment gateway (PayGate) to process your online payment. Thereafter a qualified staff member will contact you (within 24 hours of placing your order) to process your delivery further.


How do I cancel an order?

In order to cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order with the details provided on our website. Once an order gets dispatched for delivery, a cancellation can no longer take place.


Can I make changes to my order once I have placed it?

Yes, changes can be made shortly after placing an order. However there may be additional charges involved should your request to include a larger quantity of products or in the case the order is already on its way for delivery.

Refunds & Returns

What is your returns policy?

We cannot process returns on our products as they are perishable. The order can be cancelled but must be done so timeously (prior to delivery taking place).


Can I return an order once it has been delivered?

Under no circumstances can a product that has already reached the specified delivery address be returned. Our products are perishable and therefore cannot be re-purposed once a delivery is successful.


What do I do if the item I received is not what I ordered?

In the case that Frost Popsicle’s delivers the incorrect order to your specified delivery address, please contact us immediately (prior to opening any of the goods). We will collect the incorrect order at the same time as delivering the correct order originally requested (within 2 – 3 working days).


What do I do if the product I received is melted or damaged in any way?

In the unlikely event that a product arrives melted or damaged at the delivery address, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue further. Please note if the order is not flagged within 15 minutes of receiving your delivery, we cannot be expected to process any sort of replacement of goods.

Frost Popsicle’s reserves the right to inspect your order’s condition upon arriving with it’s replacement. Should we uncover that there was negligence on the customers part, we will withhold the replacement goods.

Payments & Products

How do I pay for my order?

All online orders are paid upfront during the checkout process. We accept VISA and Mastercard and make use of a secure payment gateway (Paygate) to finalise your orders online. Thereafter a qualified staff member will contact you to organise a suitable delivery date & time.

You are also able to order directly from us using the contact details provided on the website. You will be invoiced accordingly and payment can be made via EFT or COD (cash on delivery).


Can you give me more information about the Perfect 10 Build a Box?

The Perfect 10 Build a Box gives you, our customer the flexibility to create a box of your favourite flavour popsicles. Create a box of 10 popsicles from any of the products within our range. We will then package the various products selected and have them delivered exactly as per your request.

Prices do vary within our range, please double-check the pricing once your flavours have been selected prior to continuing with the checkout process.
